Our survival depends on collective climate action, yet Big Tech companies have allowed divisions to flourish online for profit. Fuelled by climate disinformation, polarising algorithms and toxic hate speech, digital platforms are undermining our ability to solve the world’s biggest issues together.

The world’s forests are rapidly disappearing, cleared for farming and the production of consumer goods. While some countries have banned high-risk imports, an oversight is the finance that keeps flowing to companies driving deforestation.

Fossil fuel companies have our future in a chokehold. They’ve captured our politicians’ ears, infiltrated climate summits and fuelled and funded war. We’re exposing how far fossil fuel companies will go to protect their shareholders’ wealth – even if they end up dragging us all into climate chaos.

Hundreds of land and environmental defenders are threatened, arrested and killed every year for their part in resisting environmental devastation. We work to expose the root causes behind these attacks to ensure defenders are protected, and that those responsible are held to account.

The renewable energy boom has triggered a new rush for resources, as countries race to secure their supply of transition minerals. But this push for clean technology could quickly turn dirty, unless we learn lessons from the past.
