We’re looking for a creative and self-driven Digital Content Creator to produce compelling, audience-first multimedia content that advances our digital fundraising and engagement objectives.

You’ll act as a compact creative unit within our Digital Fundraising and Engagement Hub (DFEH) — managing briefs, shaping content strategies, and delivering high-impact assets from concept to completion. This is a new pilot initiative testing a more agile, end-to-end content production model.

You’ll work on a project-by-project basis, with briefs shared in advance detailing objectives, audiences, timelines, and deliverables.

Content priorities will be driven by organisational strategy and audience insights and will be shaped collaboratively with the DFEH. Projects may include:

  • Campaign launches
  • Digital fundraising pushes
  • Reactive content in response to breaking news
  • Evergreen storytelling initiatives

Objectives

Content production: Develop and deliver high-quality, audience-led multimedia content across social and digital campaign channels.

Project management: Lead the delivery of scoped digital engagement projects from briefing to sign-off, ensuring alignment with campaign and fundraising objectives.

Digital storytelling: Translate complex investigations into compelling digital formats, including short videos, graphics, carousels, and animations.

Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to streamline content development and approvals.

Innovation: Help pilot a more responsive and scalable content model, feeding into learning for longer-term team design and strategy.

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience in creating high-impact digital content across platforms (primarily for social media channels).
  • Strong storytelling skills with a portfolio that demonstrates creative flair and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to work autonomously, from concept to delivery, with minimal oversight.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit campaigns, fundraising, or advocacy communications (desirable).
  • Confident in using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or equivalent for design and video editing.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to work across teams and manage feedback efficiently
