Evelyn Acham

Evelyn is a climate justice advocate from Kampala in Uganda. She founded the Plus One Tree Initiative project and co-founded Agape Earth Coalition.

Evelyn has gained experience in coordinating campaigns since 2020, and has co-led activities like pre-COP trainings and workshops for African climate activists in preparation for COP.

She has successfully co-led and organised a climate adaptation Africa-Europe tour in 2024, a grassroot communities climate program, as well as dialogues with politicians in the European Parliament and European Commission, and African politicians.

Evelyn has been an Advisory Council member with Global Witness since 2022.
