Alex Frank

Alex is the Program Manager for the Bike It Forward team of the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition.

He is also City of Oakland Commissioner for the Oakland Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC), and Director and founder of CampMobility.org, which propels economic growth among displaced populations by supporting cycling as a means of effective and sustainable transportation.

Alex was formerly Senior Policy Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he developed and negotiated the US regulatory position within the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision.

He was also Principal Consultant at Gauge.io, where he developed quantitative models for market research, and Senior Consultant at Oliver Wyman.

Alex has a wide range of expertise in policy, finance and community building, and a passion for Global Witness’ mission areas.
